Our Preschool and Pre-K Programs
Creative, nature-inspired foundation for lifelong learning
Preschool (Ages 2 ½ - 5)
At Creative Arts Preschool, we believe young children thrive when they feel safe, supported, and free to explore. Our preschool program is designed to encourage curiosity, independence, and joyful learning through nature, art, movement, and play.
Each day is thoughtfully structured to offer rhythm and routine, while leaving plenty of room for discovery. With small group sizes, nurturing teachers, and a warm, creative environment, children build lasting confidence and connection at their own pace.
Preschool Program Highlights
Small class sizes that allow us to truly know and support each child
Gentle potty training support and flexible schedules
Daily nature walks that spark curiosity and connect us with the seasons
Art-based learning that builds creativity, confidence, and fine motor skills
A strong focus on social-emotional growth, friendships, and communication
Time for play, movement, and meaningful choice throughout the day
A calm, encouraging atmosphere where children learn to love learning
Pre-K Focus (Ages 4 - 5)
Our Pre-K program supports older preschoolers in their final year before kindergarten while honoring each child’s individuality. At this stage, children begin to follow multi-step instructions, stay focused longer, and choose to add more detail to their work. We nurture this growth with meaningful activities that build confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.
We balance creative exploration with early academic foundations, helping children build strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the readiness to thrive in kindergarten and beyond.
Pre-K Program Highlights:
Early literacy and letter recognition through play and storytelling
Handwriting development using engaging, hands-on activities
Early math through nature, movement, and games
Strengthening focus, stamina, and attention to detail
Encouraging leadership and responsibility within the group
Building confidence through self-directed choices and creative problem solving
A Sample Day at Creative Arts Preschool
Each day at Creative Arts Preschool follows a gentle, consistent rhythm that helps children feel secure while encouraging creativity, movement, and connection. We begin the morning with play and time to settle in, followed by a group gathering for circle time, stories, and a themed art project.
After creating, we head outdoors for nature walks and active play on our playground. Children explore nearby trails, notice changes in the seasons, and move their bodies while connecting with the world around them.
Full-day students share lunch together, rest or recharge, and enjoy small-group learning centers that gently support Pre-K readiness. Our afternoons include music, yoga, sports, or nature exploration- with plenty of time for creativity, laughter, and friendship along the way.
