Schedules
At Creative Arts Preschool, we offer two engaging programs throughout the year:
our school-year preschool program from September through June, and our Creative Arts Summer Camp from June through August.
Families enrolling in the school-year preschool choose a set weekly schedule (2-5 days per week, half-day or full-day), while our summer camp offers more flexibility- register by the week or by the month depending on your summer plans.
Preschool Runs from August 31- June 11
Our preschool program runs Monday through Friday and follows a consistent daily rhythm.
Holiday Closures:
Labor Day: September 3 to 7
Thanksgiving Break: November 25 to 27
Winter Break: December 21 to January 1
Presidents’ Day: February 15
Spring Break: March 15 to 19
Memorial Weekend: May 28 and 31
Summer Camp Schedule
June through August
Our Creative Arts Summer Camp follows a similar daily rhythm to the school year, but with a focus on even more outdoor time, nature exploration, and open-ended creativity. Campers explore trails, dive into themed art projects, and enjoy plenty of movement and fun in a relaxed summertime setting.
Families may register:
By the week – Choose 2, 3, or 5 days per week
By the month – Get a discounted rate when enrolling full-time
Each week has its own nature-inspired theme, and our enrichment classes continue through the summer, offering variety and consistency for returning students.
Daily Schedule
Our daily rhythm is designed to balance creativity, movement, and connection. Children thrive in a predictable structure that allows room for play, discovery, and rest.
8:45-9:30Drop-Off & Playtime- Children ease into the day with open play, creative exploration, and time to build friendships.
9:45Cleanup & Bathroom Break
10:00 Snack Time
10:30Circle Time & Story- We gather for songs, stories, and a connection to the day’s theme, followed by a hands-on art project.
11:15Outdoor Play or Nature Walk
12:00 Half-Day Pickup
12:15 Lunch
12:45 Bathroom Break & Story Time- A calm moment to reset, listen to a story, and get ready for the afternoon.
1:00 Quiet Rest / Nap Time- Children wind down with cozy blankets, soft music, and a stuffed animal from home.
Pre-K Learning Centers- Older children engage in early literacy, math, and creative thinking through play-based activities.

2:00 Enrichment Classes (Rotating Daily):

2:45–3:00 Full-Day Pickup
3:00–4:00 Aftercare
Aftercare Option
We offer optional aftercare from 3:00 to 4:00 for both preschool and summer programs.
Spots are limited and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
The cost is $15 per hour.
Aftercare includes relaxed outdoor play, nature walks, quiet creative activities, and time to wind down at the end of the day.
