    Children observe landscapes, skies, and natural forms during daily nature walks, then bring those experiences to life through watercolor painting and clay work. This week emphasizes creative exploration, experimentation with materials, and building confidence through hands-on art.

  • June 29-July 3

    Inspired by the colors and energy of summer celebrations, campers enjoy outdoor exploration paired with festive, art-centered projects. This joyful week blends creativity, movement, and imaginative play in a relaxed, supportive environment designed for summer fun.

    Campers explore trails with views of Montana’s mountains, noticing shapes, light, and natural details. Art projects are inspired by the landscape around us and encourage self-expression through painting and mixed media. A calm, creative week rooted in our local environment.

    This week celebrates summer in Montana through daily outdoor exploration and nature-inspired art. Campers create artwork based on their experiences on the trail while enjoying a relaxed balance of creativity, movement, and imaginative play.

Summer Camp 2026

At Creative Arts, summer is all about creativity, exploration, and connection. Our Summer Art & Nature Camp is designed for children ages 3 through second grade and offers a joyful blend of hands-on art, daily nature walks, and movement-based enrichment activities.

Each week features a different theme that inspires our projects and outdoor adventures. Whether your child joins us for one session or the whole summer, they’ll return home happy, confident, and full of stories to share.

A Day at Summer Camp

Summer days at Creative Arts are full of movement, imagination, and discovery. Campers start their day with playful connection and a themed circle time, followed by a nature walk or trail adventure where we observe plants, listen for birds, and explore the beauty of Montana’s summer season.

Back at school, children dive into art projects inspired by the week’s theme- painting, sculpting, printing and creating art along with memories. building with natural materials. Full-day campers enjoy lunch together, have a quiet rest or recharge time, and relaxed afternoon play. Our afternoons include a rotating enrichment class, more outdoor time, and space for imagination and collaboration.

Whether we’re creating under the trees, spotting butterflies on a trail, or dancing through a themed movement game, each day brings new ways to grow, create and connect.

Enrichment Classes

    Children sing, move, and explore sound through themed songs, rhythm instruments, and musical storytelling. Music builds group connection and encourages joyful expression.

    A camper favorite- this class gets everyone moving with music, rhythm, and silly fun. It’s high-energy, expressive, and full of smiles.

    Art happens every day, both indoors and out. We use real materials and follow our curiosity to paint, sculpt, build, and design projects inspired by the week’s theme and our surroundings.

    Nature Exploration

    Daily trail walks offer space for observation, curiosity, and connection with the natural world. Children learn to identify local plants and birds, notice changes in the seasons, and move their bodies with purpose and joy.
